celebrated onam yesterday.had lunch at the KTDC hotel. good and tasty lunch. enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the waterfront of ashtamudi lake.onam sadya is a lavish feast of different varieties of tasty vegetable curries along with rice spread on a plantain leaf.there are also 4 varieties of payasams which are sweet dishes made of different ingredients. the onam sadya is too good and mouthwatering to resist. onam is a harvest festival of kerala celebrated during the month of chingam that is during august-september.
